Shipley Station
Shipley railway station is the mainline railway station serving the city centre of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England.
Shipley is a unique three-sided junction station. There are connections for Bradford Forster Square and stations to Ilkley and Skipton. The well-preserved Victorian village of Saltaire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just a short walk west along the towpath of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. It was built by Sir Titus Salt for the workers at the neighbouring Salts Mill. The huge mill is now a gallery, museum and shopping complex.
