The station was closed in March 1965, a victim of the Beeching cuts, but was reopened in 1990.

Monday to Saturday: half-hourly service to Leeds, hourly service to Bradford Forster Square and three trains per hour to Skipton.

Change at Skipton for onward services to Lancaster and Morecambe.
