This was the original station not only for the village of Giggleswick, with its famous public school, but also the dales town of Settle with its popular weekly street market on Tuesdays.

Both locations are just over a mile from the station which is sited close to the River Ribble.

Giggleswick Station is an unstaffed but fully accessible station.
