Bentham
Welcome to Bentham station. This is a small station with two platforms in lovely North Yorkshire.
Here the station can be seen from the North off Station Road. The car park is found at the end of this spur.
The road bridge provides a step free way of transferring between platforms at Bentham, however, there are curbs at either side of the bridge.
From the South of the Station there is another entrance directly to platform 2 along South View.
To get to platform level there are either steps by the red poster cases or a ramp further along the platform.
This is the three degree ramp. The step up to the train can be as much as 28cm from the platform, take care.
Passengers can also change between platforms using the station footbridge, which has 25 steps on each side.
Platform 1 is for services towards Skipton and Leeds. Platform 2 is for services towards Lancaster and Morecambe.
On platform 1 you can find plenty of information about Bentham Station on the notice boards.
Platform 1 also has a heated waiting room, water bottle refilling station and an accessible toilet.
Feel free to pick up guides about the railway or the local area and pop your head in to see if anyone is in the office!
This is the accessible customer toilet with good space, grab handles and an alarm.
Thank you for watching. We hope you enjoy your journey on the Bentham line.
