Mondays to Saturdays the number of trains each day will increase from 4 to 6 each way, with through journeys between Leeds and Morecambe restored.

In addition the full 5-trains-each-way Sunday timetable will continue, including the ‘boat train’ services to and from Heysham Port.

The services will continue to be operated by 2 and 3-car refurbished Class 158 units, some of which now have onboard WiFi and USB Charing points for tablets and mobile phones.’
