The latest winter offer for the holders of a Dales Railcard takes a different format. To enable far more holders to benefit from the offer for more of their journeys, this time the discount on off-peak day return tickets is being increased from 34% to 50% right through until 1st April 2023. There are no excluded dates, however, the normal Dales Railcard conditions of travel apply. Consequently, the offer is available at anytime on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays and after 08:15 Mondays to Fridays.

Below are some examples of adult off-peak day return fares to illustrate the advantages of holding a Dales Railcard and the even greater reduction as a result of the latest winter offer.

For the first time, the offer is available through the Northern app and via Northern’s website: northernrailway.co.uk. Remember to select ‘Dales Railcard Winter Offer’ rather than ‘Dales Rail card’ to get the full 50% discount.

The annual Dales Railcard continues to be very good value and can be purchased from the staffed stations at Skipton, Settle, Appleby and Carlisle, and via the Settle-Carlisle Railway website settle-carlisle.co.uk for £10.00*.
